From an NLP
to tell you what works for him
The field of NLP can be one of the most life-changing and beneficial endeavors of your life. It has been for me. Unfortunately, finding the right training for yourself can be difficult and confusing. For NLP trainings, it is not enough to simply consider things such as, the quality of the trainer, the benefits of the center, etc.; you often have to wade through the twenty years of political muckraking that has permeated the field. For a field that prides itself on creating excellent rapport and communication, I continue to be amazed that many of the top trainers In the field are virtually feuding with each other.
With so many NLP trainers all over the country, I'd like to share some of my experiences with you. I've trained with most of the active trainers across the country, including Richard Bandler, Tad James, Connie Rae and Steve Andreas, Robert Dilts, Todd Epstein, Wyatt Woodsmall, and Chris Hall. I've also trained with six active trainers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I've been fortunate enough to find usefulness in all of their trainings, and I respect and admire all of them in many ways.
Without passing judgment on any trainers, I can honestly say that in all of my studies, I have found the most personal benefit from Jan and John Marszalek and NLP Learning Systems. I'm not saying that they are the best trainers (which would be a judgment I'm not qualified to make), but I am saying that they provided me things that none of the other trainers could.
If you live near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and you're Interested in NLP, you need to pay attention. NLP Learning Systems offers you benefits that you are probably neither utilizing nor appreciating fully. I began my studies with Jan and John over three years .ago. For the price of $300.00, I took a weekend Introductory Course; then, I used the free repeat privileges to take fifteen more. (That works out to be less than $1.00! hour.) For the price of another $300.00, I took more than three weekend Sales Game courses. When I took the Advanced Practitioner course, I found myself with not only seven months of Intensive NLP activity, I also qualified to assist In the next seven-month Advanced Practitioner course. That gave me almost a full year and a half of intensive NLP experience and activity within a Practitioner course. The investment of $2,250.00 was meager compared to what I received. In addition to the coursework, NLP Learning Systems promotes active study groups. I must have attended thirty or forty evening sessions with fellow students, Practitioners, and Master Practitioners free of charge. In addition, I've had the opportunity to truly love and appreciate both Jan and John. This has only come through the lasting personal interactions and personal growth that we have shared for the last three years.
With most trainings, a Practitioner course lasts for 5 to 28 days. After that, you are done. There are no study groups, no weekend classes, no free repeat privileges, and no opportunities to assist later. Most of the students will only have a student-trainer relationship for that brief time period. Few students ever have the opportunity to become exceptional with their skills, nor to have a personal relationship with their trainers. Travel to other cities is costly and time consuming, and it requires you to live outside of your normal routines. Sometimes, just the travel makes it difficult to get the most out of your seminar.
You might wonder what benefit you received from taking basic courses so many times. Again, you need to pay attention. I have found the most useful and beneficial part of my training to be contained in the Introduction to NLP classes. They contained simple information about rapport, eye accessing patterns, anchoring, and calibration. After studying so much Information, these skills may seem like just a drop in the bucket, but they're not. If you learn just a few things in NLP, these are the skills to learn. By using the free repeat privileges, I was able to become very, very proficient in all of those areas; that transformed my life dramatically. You can do it, too!
Some of the major trainers in the field of NLP are very concerned about the levels of proficiency of NLP students in general. I tend to agree with them. I have worked with certified Master Practitioners who have difficulty with even the basics, such as rapport, anchoring, and calibration. As for my skills, most of the people at my trainings mistakenly assumed that I was a skilled and certified Master Practitioner even before I had completed the Advanced Practitioner course. I attribute much of that to the basic training that I got at NLP Learning Systems. My training with Jan and John Marszalek not only helped me to enrich my life; it also helped me to develop excellent NLP skills.
I support all of the trainers in NLP. They are providing information that is transforming lives, and, on a larger scale, transforming the world. Every trainer who has touched my life has done so with my heartfelt appreciation. As you look into what training is right for you, I would encourage you to consider what I have mentioned here.
I strongly support what Jan and John Marszalek are providing for people. Additionally, I consider Jan and John to be of the highest moral integrity, and that is very important to me as well. I hope you will look again at how you can benefit at NLP Learning Systems.
